Rapid Recap – Introduction

Rapid Recap helps to support frontline clinicians with CPD and clinical education in our busy prehospital environment.  Rapid Recap aims to deliver headline information about medical and trauma conditions to help recap your existing underpinning knowledge, in a digestible two-minute-read. Further reading can be accessed through the JRCALC+ app, and Rapid Recap specific quiz’s are found on the ParaPass app.  If you’re gathering evidence for an NQP, AAP, or general CPD portfolio, a short reflective piece can be added and then used towards your reflective evidence log.

Rapid Recap is distributed each month using suggested topics or topics on trend (seasonal/disease trends).  NWAS-wide clinicians, irrespective of grade, are invited to contribute towards writing content in future issues in a supportive process. Please get in touch with rapid.recap@nwas.nhs.uk.
