The Macmillian Cancer Support website provides education and training cover a range of topics that are relevant to healthcare professionals who may support patients who are living with and beyond cancer.
These include cancer information and support, psychological care and communication skills, leadership and professional development, palliative and end of life care, personalised care and support planning, primary, community and social care. You can access on-demand eLearning courses and videos, live online courses and programmes and trusted resources and toolkits.
Greater Manchester Cancer Academy
The Greater Manchester Cancer Academy is the education arm of Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance and provides eLearning for health care professionals in a wide range of cancer conditions and treatments. The GM Cancer Academy offers immersive and engaging cancer education in a variety of forms to suit all types of learners including modules, events, webinars, and skills labs. Many of the offers are free of charge and include acute oncology, metastatic cord compression, cancer awareness workshops and supporting you to provide inclusive care to LGBTQ+ patients to name a few!
