Who should attend?

Employees, regardless of grade, considering retirement or for those who have just started thinking about retirement plans.

What you will gain?

From 1st October 2023 a new pension income flexibility has been made available to staff members who have built up pension in the 1995 NHS Pension Scheme.

Did you know that you can now take up to 100% of your pension and continue to work?

If you are thinking about your retirement income options and want to understand more about all the flexible ways you could take your pension, especially the option for drawdown then this course would be ideal for you.

With this in mind, financial wellbeing and retirement specialists ‘Affinity Connect’ are facilitating a 2 hour course providing you with information about all of the retirement options available to you.

Programme outline

This course will cover topics such as:

  • The NHS Pension Scheme – pre-April 2022 and post April 2022
  • Options to increase your pension income whilst working.
  • The flexible retirement opportunities available to you.
  • Key considerations and next steps
