About The Learning Loops
The Learning Loop information comes from the work done by the Regional Clinical Learning and Improvement Group (RCLIG), which focuses on identifying learning and development by evaluating recent clinical events, reviewing these and highlighting common themes. From this, we share best practices, lessons learned, and successful strategies for improving patient care.
Sharing learning and improvement work is essential for our continued commitment to patient safety and to inspire improvements in patient care. Learning Loop topics are disseminated through various methods including: posters, wallboards, SP huddles, email, social media, CPD Hub and more.
The Learning Loop is distributed each month using topics taken from RCLIG and the Patient Safety Learning team. These learning topics will be stored on this page and will be updated regularly.
If you have any queries arising from the Learning Loops or patient safety, please email the Patient Safety team at safetylearning@nwas.nhs.uk and we will be happy to help or if we can’t, signpost you to the team or person who can.
