The Mary Seacole Local Programme is a six month leadership development programme
designed by the NHS Leadership Academy in partnership with the Hay Group, to develop
knowledge and skills in leadership and management.
It aims to provide the balance between learning the theory and putting it into practice. It is
designed for those looking to move into their first formal leadership role, or those new to first
time leadership. It empowers people to turn their success into consistent team success and to
champion compassionate patient care.
The programme is spread out over six months and includes:
- 100 hours of online study;
- 3 mandatory online workshops, if you cannot attend all 3 workshops, please apply for a
- future cohort;
- A written assignment of 2000 words about reflection on your leadership impact.
Cost: £150.00 per delegate.
Applications for Cohort 24 are now open with a deadline of Friday 3rd January 2025. If you wish to apply for this you must apply for NWAS funding first by completing a CPD request MS Forms.
